Southern California Alliance of Law Enforcement (SCALE) Gives Congresswoman Hahn Forceful Endorsement
SAN PEDRO, CA— Following her unprecedented and incredibly strong showing in the June 5th Primary Election, where she won by a whopping 20% over her opponent, today Congresswoman Hahn continued to pick up steam by announcing a major endorsement from the Southern California Alliance of Law Enforcement (SCALE).
“The consensus among law enforcement groups throughout Southern California is clear—we all support Congresswoman Janice Hahn for re-election,” said Floyd R. Hayhurst, President of Southern California Alliance of Law Enforcement (SCALE). “As a former LA City Councilwoman and now as a member of Congress, Janice Hahn has always been a rock-solid and steadfast supporter of law enforcement and public safety, and because of her unwavering commitment to us, we are proud to stand with her in her re-election efforts.”
In addition to today’s endorsement, Congresswoman Hahn has consolidated law enforcement support from the following groups: the Los Angeles Police Protective League (LAPPL), Los Angeles Port Police Association, ILWU local 65, Los Angeles Port Police Command Officers Association (LAPPCOA), Professional Peace Officers Association (PPOA), and the Los Angeles Airport Police Officers Association.
“I have always made it a priority to ensure that our law enforcement and public safety agencies have sufficient funding in order to both protect the public, and at the same time, make sure that we take care of those who take care of us,” said Congresswoman Hahn. “Similarly, I strongly believe that we must continue to invest in new and innovative technologies and practices that enhance law enforcement and public safety agencies ability to function efficiently, while expanding proven operations that keep our residents safe. I am truly grateful to have SCALE’s endorsement, and look forward to working with them on my re-election campaign.”
