Honored
The votes have been counted in the Primary Election, and I am honored to announce that the citizens of California’s 44th district have chosen me to represent them.
I am honored and humbled by this sign of support. I wish I could say this race was over, but recognize we still have a lot of work to do. Five months from now, we face a competitive runoff election and we need to recharge and expand our operation. We’re going to have to double our efforts, and I hope I can, once again, count on your shoe leather and contributions.
We won this primary by talking about the great challenges facing our communities – like creating good paying jobs, improving our schools, increasing trade at our port, and protecting Medicare and Social Security for seniors. I learned from both of my parents the importance of relentlessly focusing on the solutions that our communities need, and I promise I will never stop working to tackle those challenges.
We still have a long road ahead of us, but I am very thankful that today, I am traveling it with people like you. Your support makes all the difference, and I want to thank you deeply for that.
Sincerely,
Janice Hahn
