Nationwide LGBT Group Gives Hahn Formidable Endorsement

SAN PEDRO, CA— With just five weeks left before the November 6th General Election, Congresswoman Hahn has continued to pick up steam, and today she garnered a valuable endorsement from the National Stonewall Democrats.

“We are proud to add our name to the growing list of supporters joining Congresswoman Janice Hahn’s re-election campaign for California’s new 44th district,” said Jerame Davis, Executive Director of the National Stonewall Democrats. “Janice Hahn has always been a firm believer in equality for all Americans. Moreover, she has a strong record of being on the frontlines and fighting with our community on the issues we care deeply about. She has our full support.”

“This endorsement demonstrates my steadfast commitment to advancing the issue of equality for all Americans,” said Congresswoman Hahn. “I believe that marriage equality is one of the major civil rights issues of the 21st century, and in Congress, I will not rest until all Americans enjoy equality on all issues.”

The National Stonewall Democrats is a grassroots network connecting LGBT Democratic activists across the United States. With more than 90 chapters across the country, Stonewall is a grassroots force for social change within the LGBT movement and within the Democratic Party. Their members do the hard work of calling voters, putting together campaign mailings, and going door-to-door for their candidates. Stonewall is America’s only grassroots Democratic LGBT organization.
