Champion for Women and Key Lawmaker Calls Congresswoman Hahn a “Passionate Defender of Women and America’s Middle Class”
SAN PEDRO, CA- Continuing to dominate the race for California’s new 44th Congressional District, today Congresswoman Janice Hahn scored a key endorsement from one of California’s most outspoken and influential women leaders, Congresswoman Jackie Speier.
“Janice Hahn hit the ground running on day one after she was sworn in to the House of Representatives,” said Congresswoman Speier. “She’s proven herself to be a fearless and bold advocate for her constituents, and a passionate defender of women and America’s middle class. I’m very proud to strongly back her re-election campaign because I know that she’ll continue to advance the causes that her constituents care about.”
“Congresswoman Speier is one of California’s most dynamic and leading figures in Washington, and her endorsement provides another big boost of energy into my campaign,” said Congresswoman Hahn. “She’s been a good friend and close ally, and I’m delighted to have her support in my re-election efforts.”
Today’s endorsement adds to Congresswoman Hahn’s recent winning streak of endorsements from Compton-base California State Assemblyman Isadore Hall, the LA County Federation of Labor, AFL-CIO, former Congresswoman Diane Watson, the California Democratic Party, and California State Assemblyman and California Latino Legislative Caucus Chair Ricardo Lara.
