We all know California has gone terribly off track – education is suffering, unemployment is at an all-time high and local government’s budgets are being decimated so that Sacramento can balance its own. Our progressive, pioneer spirit is shaken.

This is our moment to take it back. We need strong leadership, ingenuity, and creativity. We need an attitude of inclusion; a focus on solving problems. We need change and a new course for California.

I’m running because I think I can help chart this course for our state. I believe I have the credentials, ideas, and determination to bring change to California. And I think it’s about time that California has its first woman Lt. Governor!
